Today was dominated by fasting from 7.30 am onwards, prior to an ultra scan; which did not take place until after 3.30 pm. A long time to go without food and water. Fairly starving by the time I got back to my room. Any way the liver scan looked good; and all appears ready for discharge home tomorrow.

    Hi Roger, great news after a crap day?

    There's a song about "sunshine after the rain.....", which is a wee bit more eloquent than my explanation!
    Pure dead brilliant to be rolling home anyway.

    Does an ultra scan mean "stain free" like the ultra soap powders????
    Glad your liver scan was good - liver's a bit handy, and you certainly don't need any complicated nonsense!
